AC500 Known Problems See http://www.flightsimonline.com/commander for Current Details, FAQ's, Known Problems, Repaint Information, and more.

1. Throttle sync issues: After starting individual engines, throttles are not sync'ed or only one engine throttle is active.

If you cannot re-synch the throttles with the standard E,1,2, then use FSUIPC HOTKEYS to assign one key to re-sync the throttles. It works beautifully.

2. Lights are not totally controlled by the "L" key: The typical use of the "L" key is negated so that realistic navigation lights options can be available. Early Commanders had no strobe lights so the nav lights had an option to flash and remain on steady. Use the individual overhead switches to control the lights.

3. The aircraft sometimes tips backwards coming out of "Push Back" mode: If you use pushback for the Commanders, change the aircraft.cfg [weights] section to read as follows:
station_load.0=200.000, 5.500, -1.100, -1.000 //pilot
station_load.1=200.000, 5.500, 1.100, -1.000 //copilot

4. "Some" joysticks seem to make all aircraft appear over-sensitive. There is a parameter to "de-sensitize" joystick inputs. In the FS9.cfg [CONTROLS] Section, add the following statement: stick_sensitivity_mode=0

This will make your joystick inputs more like a flight yoke.
